Cutting

I’ve been cutting for eight weeks, and my energy is at an all-time low. I’m still hitting my macros, but I feel exhausted. My lifts are suffering, and even outside the gym, I just feel sluggish all day. How do I get through this? I know cutting is supposed to be tough, but this is next-level fatigue.

Make sure you’re timing your carbs around workouts. A small bump in carbs pre-training can make a big difference in energy. If you’re going super low-carb all day, that’s probably why you feel like a zombie.

Sleep and hydration are huge. A lot of times, fatigue comes from being slightly dehydrated or not getting enough deep sleep. Try tracking your sleep and see if you need to improve your routine.

If you’re too deep in a deficit, consider a refeed day. A well-planned refeed can reset hormones and bring energy levels back up. Just don’t turn it into a binge—keep it structured with quality carbs.
