Clomid

Clomid, also known as Clomiphene Citrate, is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) primarily used to treat infertility in women by stimulating ovulation. In bodybuilding, it is widely used during post-cycle therapy (PCT) to restore natural testosterone production after anabolic steroid cycles. Clomid works by blocking estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus, which signals the pituitary gland to release more luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). These hormones stimulate the testes to produce testosterone naturally.

Clomid helps prevent estrogen-related side effects such as gynecomastia and low testosterone levels caused by steroid use. While effective, it may cause side effects like mood swings, nausea, headaches, and visual disturbances in some users. Proper dosing and cycle length are crucial to minimize side effects and ensure hormonal recovery. It is often combined with other PCT drugs, such as Nolvadex, to optimize results.
