Can you compete without totally screwing your goals?

So I got asked to be part of a local strength event nothing too crazy, just some compound lifts and a bit of strongman-style stuff. I’m in the middle of a recomp right now though, and donot wanna ruin progress. Anyone ever done something like this mid-cycle?

I say go for it if you're feeling strong.just don’t ego lift and wreck your prep.

You’ll probably look fuller after. I’ve done a mock meet during recomp and came out looking better the next day.

Just don’t kill your recovery. Compete smart, then dial your diet right back in and you’ll be good.
