Nolvadex

Nolvadex, also known as Tamoxifen Citrate, is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) primarily used to treat hormone-sensitive breast cancer. In bodybuilding, it is commonly used during post-cycle therapy (PCT) to restore natural testosterone production and prevent estrogen-related side effects caused by anabolic steroid use, such as gynecomastia (male breast enlargement) and water retention. Nolvadex works by blocking estrogen receptors in certain tissues, particularly in the breast, while allowing estrogen to function normally in other areas of the body.

It is effective in boosting luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which stimulate the body to produce testosterone naturally. Although generally well-tolerated, Nolvadex may cause side effects such as nausea, headaches, hot flashes, and mood swings. Proper dosing and timing during PCT are crucial to minimize side effects and ensure hormonal recovery after steroid cycles.
