What are your deal-breakers?

What’s a gym “red flag” that makes you immediately rethink working out at a place? I checked out a new gym recently, and within five minutes, I saw three dudes deadlifting barefoot on the main floor and one guy doing curls in the squat rack. Just walked right out. 

If the dumbbells only go up to 80 lbs, I’m out. Can’t stand gyms that only cater to casuals and don’t have heavy weights.

 If they blast pop music and there’s no chalk allowed, I already know the vibe is off. Gotta have at least a little hardcore energy.

If I see a bunch of people sitting on machines scrolling on their phones instead of lifting, that’s my cue to leave. I need a place where people actually work.
