my metabolism feels like it’s slowed to a crawl

Cutting down for a competition and trying to get as shredded as possible, but my metabolism feels like it’s slowed to a crawl. I’m barely eating, doing tons of cardio, and still not dropping. What do I do? 

You might be in too much of a deficit. Sometimes adding a refeed or diet break can actually help. If your body thinks you’re starving, it’ll hold onto fat for dear life. 

Clen or T3 might be an option if you’re really stuck, but don’t jump to that first. Make sure your training and recovery are locked in before throwing in fat burners.

Check your water and sodium intake. A lot of times, people mistake water retention for fat gain. If you’re holding onto water, adjust your electrolytes and see if that helps.
