I am trying to maintain as much muscle as possible while cutting down.

Just finished a bulk and now trying to maintain as much muscle as possible while cutting down. I know I need to be in a deficit, but how do I keep strength up and not look flat? 

Keep protein intake super high and don’t drop carbs too fast. A slow cut is way better for maintaining strength. Try carb cycling to keep muscles full.

Don’t overdo the cardio. Too much steady-state can eat into muscle. Stick to short, intense sessions if you need to keep fat loss going without burning too much muscle.

 Keep heavy lifting in your routine. A lot of guys start going too light when cutting, but if you stop pushing heavy weights, you’ll lose strength faster.
