How do you guys know when it's time to pull the plug temporarily?

Has anyone here actually taken a full break from the gym for like a week or two just to reset mentally? I’ve been feeling super burned out—not physically, but just mentally drained. Training feels more like a chore lately. Not sure if I should push through or take a step back.

If it feels like a chore, step back. I’ve taken full weeks off and came back feeling better and stronger.

i do deloads every 8–10 weeks, but once in a while, i take 4–5 full rest days. mental break helps more than you think.
