Does anyone else feel like social media is making bodybuilding worse?

Does anyone else feel like social media is making bodybuilding worse? Everywhere I look, it’s just fake weights, insane genetics, and crazy cycles. It’s hard to tell what’s real anymore. How do you guys stay focused and not get caught up in comparing yourself to dudes online? 

I stopped following half those fitness influencers. Most of them are just trying to sell programs or supplements anyway. Focus on your own progress. The guy you were last year is your real competition. 

Social media is all smoke and mirrors. Nobody posts their bad days or injuries. If you find yourself getting caught up in comparisons, take a break from it. The gym is real life—Instagram isn’t.
