Cutting weight for a competition is brutal

Cutting weight for a competition is brutal, but what’s the worst part for you? For me, it’s not even the hunger—it’s the insane cravings. I could be eating five meals a day and still randomly want some ridiculous food I haven’t had in years. How do you guys deal with it?

I swear, when I’m deep in a cut, I start craving the weirdest stuff—like, I’ll see a kid eating cereal, and suddenly all I want is a giant bowl of Lucky Charms. I just power through and remind myself it’s temporary.

I plan one cheat meal a week just to keep my sanity. If I know I can have it later, it helps me stay on track the rest of the time.
