body just refused to cooperate?
Quote from Jayve on March 6, 2025, 10:07 pmEver had a competition prep where you did everything right, but your body just refused to cooperate? I’m deep into a cut, following the plan, training hard, and doing all the right things, but my weight is stuck, my pumps are weak, and I just feel off. It’s like my body is fighting me. Have you guys ever hit that point, and if so, what helped you push through it?

Quote from duncan on March 9, 2025, 4:36 pm100% man, sometimes the body just stalls out, especially when stress is high. Could be cortisol messing with you. Try a refeed day, increase sodium, and see if it gives your metabolism a little kick. Also, sleep is huge, if you’re not recovering well, everything starts feeling worse.

Quote from klaus on March 9, 2025, 6:17 pmI had this happen during my last prep, and it turned out I was overdoing cardio and not eating enough. Sometimes less is more. I pulled back slightly on cardio, increased fats a little, and within a few days, I started dropping again. Your body needs fuel to keep burning fat.

Quote from Derek on March 11, 2025, 11:25 pmIf you’ve been in a deficit for too long, you might need a short diet break. A week at maintenance calories can help reset things without messing up your progress. It sounds scary, but it works if you’re really stuck.
