Anyone else feel like their strength takes a hit the closer they get to a show?

I’m about 4 weeks out, and everything feels heavy. My lifts are down, pumps aren’t hitting like before, and mentally I’m dragging. Is this just normal part of prep or am I doing something wrong?

Totally normal, bro. You’re depleted, low carbs, high cardio—it’s not strength season, it’s shred season. Don’t worry.

Yeah man, same here. I just try to maintain, not chase PRs. Focus on posing and conditioning now, strength will bounce back post-show.
